This book is filled with beautiful pictures of the forts. It feels as if we are having virtual tour of this beautiful state😍😍 For a history buff this book is a treat!!! . . MUST MUST READ!!
Good book telling short stories behind all the major and minor forts in Rajasthan including more famous ones like Chittor, Kumbhalgarh and Jaipur and also the non famous ones like Alwar, Bayana, Deeg etc. What roles did king owners of each of them played while shaping History of Rajasthan and in turn History of India. Since the scope of this book is to cover all major forts, it won't go into detail (for e.g. architectural details) about any of the fort. In conclusion, a good starter book for anyone looking about info on forts of Rajasthan. I just wish book had relied more on pictures to describe the forts along with description.
