Who can resist another year of endless romance...?
Escape to the heart of the charming English countryside with more delightfully sweet stories of love and friendship, second chances and new beginnings.
The Stables on Muddypuddle Lane is a wonderfully uplifting series, perfect for fans of K T Dady , Rachel Griffiths and Imogen Payne .
Although the book can be read as a standalone, you’ll enjoy it all the more if you read A Year at the Stables on Muddypuddle Lane first, and follow the romance from the beginning.
Having read the first collection in this series I was more than ready to move into the second book. Once again it's split across the seasons, with changing scenery to give the sense of atmosphere, finishing up over Christmas. Each novella within the book has its own romantic story within the overarching tale of Petra's family in the stables. This book has more sadness than the first but the overall sense of love reaches throughout each page. The stories have depth, great characters and are realistic. I hadn't known until recently that Etti Summers is another pen name for an author I love, Liz Davies (who also writes under Lilac Mills), and I am full of admiration how each pen name gives a slightly different slant to the content and style of writing. I guarantee if you like books by her other pen names you'll enjoy these stories too, and the box set gives a satisfying number of pages to lose yourself in!
