After I listened politely to the first 10 or so opinionated suggestions, her ideas started to really require me to slow down the audiobook and to listen carefully. I liked them. They were helpful.

Generally, the author's suggestions are great. As a 5 year veteran homeschooler, I'm looking for more ideas of how to make homeschooling work after having my 5th child. There were several new ideas that I loved and, for the most part, she allowed me to have my own opinion on most things. A couple of her "shoulds" I disagree with and made me feel like an awful mother, but I told myself I don't have to do things her way and I moved int. All in all, very helpful and I appreciate and recommend the book, especially for new homeschoolers in their first 0-5 years.

I found this book on my library's "homeschool" shelf and took it home based only on the interesting title. Yes, there were helpful tips in here, but the formatting/grammar/spelling errors and casual way it was written were all really distracting for me. And the font was also difficult to read. I looked in the book to see if the author mentioned this being from a podcast or blog originally (to help explain why it was written or edited in this way), but couldn't find that, so I'm not sure what to think of it. I would have rated it higher if it read more easily and with fewer mistakes.
