My name is Jerome Davis, born in Chicago, IL and raised in the Christian faith since my early childhood. I began my service as a Christian Evangelist for the Lord Jesus Christ in 1990. In my teenage years, I had hopes of becoming a professional athlete similar to Bo Jackson who played professional baseball and football. In my pursuit of a professional career in baseball and football, I sustained a knee injury. I had arthroscopic knee surgery to correct the injury but it didn’t help me return to the skill level I once possessed.
In my depression, I became an introvert and would lock myself in my bedroom for hours and would just read my bible. In those many hours I spent reading my bible I came across Matthew 19:16-17 and it changed my life. It set me on the path of seeking a deeper understanding of God's holy word which took me on a spiritual journey to a closer walk with Jesus Christ. In 1989, I found a bible reading Christian church. Joined the church in 1990 and became an ordained Evangelist spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
