ਇਹ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਬੇਸ਼ੱਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੀ ਹਰਮਨ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੱਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਮਿੱਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਲੇਵਾਂ ਹੈ ।

ਭਗਤੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਾਰੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਜਾਂ ਖੋਜੀ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਠੀਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ।

heavily researched, the author had extensive access to manuscripts of the Sikh sacred writings as well as support from Sikh scholars and leaders of the time. The work was quite a labor in effort to produce it to the satisfaction of the followers of the faith with great accuracy.
