WOW.This book has me so engaged that I literally read half of it in like one sitting. And let me say,
It was sooooooo good 😊

“The bright star shined like a golden jewel amongst the pink and amber clouds strewn across the pastel blue sky. The colors were more brilliant than anything he could remember. It was as though God has shaken the paint of His pallet, and all the colors splattered across an enormous canvas , mingling together in a perfect masterpiece.”

That is a “little” excerpt from one of the characters -Trent ,who hadn’t seen sky in three years 🌅 (well he couldn’t remember because, you know, he got his memories wiped)

Sad thing happened today….. A beloved character has died 😭 -i’m not gonna spoil it for you-But he was one of my favorites 😔

“ But ,sometimes, the bigger sacrifice is to let something that you love go.”
Ya, thanks Lance I need that 🙄

On a happier note Carter had me laughing 😂
“ I wonder how many pull-ups Shango can do. Bet he’d have to jump just to reach the bar.”

Carter and Carmen reunited at the end ❤️ I’m glad for that!! THEY ARE SOULMATES 🥺

Sorry for the super, long review hope you read it. 😜

Amazing!

This girl never seizes to amaze me! Michaela Woon has unexplainable talent and explores it in her second contestant book Ruse! Just when the reader expects a certain outcome we are amazed by the reality that could never have been imagined! As mentioned by the author herself, the Gospel is presented fully and clearly throughout as is the main intention of this masterful piece. May God continue to bless Michaela with wonderful talents that we as fellow believers can enjoy!
