Language so complicated and old fashioned (although I appreciate this is relevant to the setting) and writing disjointed, taking any joy away from the storyline. I struggled to follow the action and didn’t bond with any of the characters, so I ended up skim reading it for the purposes of review.

Didn’t enjoy reading this book. Far too complicated language used. Ended up giving up (which I reluctantly do). Not for me unfortunately.
