I received a copy from BookSprout; this is my honest review
-The book is divided in specific themes: 1. Kanban itself and how to use it; 2. Digital tools; 3. Success stories; 4. Benefits and failures; 5. Conclusion and references.
-I was really grateful that I had previously watched the Plant Based Bride's video on Kanban called "The Dynamic Kanban Board: How To Manage Work Projects in your Bullet Journal", otherwise I wouldn't have understood the method itself just by reading the book because I couldn't visualize working with the cards and the information. She, the PBB, personalized it to her needs, just as Kanban is meant to be.
-Even though I couldn't picture what it looked like, I still understood the method and the benefits as it was clearly explained step-by-step, some with examples too.
-This method can be used for personal use or at work. Are you decluttering your house or your parents' or are you aligning orders in the warehouse to be picked, verified, packed and shipped?
-One great tip I found - there are many more - is that you should start with the concrete Kanban method before going on with the digital version. Get yourself acquainted with your tools, needs, and desired end-results first, see how it works for you and your team, then transfer.
-Editing needs a serious pass (one star off): Missing words, too many words (for ex., "there are many Kanban tools that out there that might or might not work for you"), or just incomprehensible sentences because the author wrote whatever was in his brains and got it out. The word "thing" is there so many times you wonder at what level his vocabulary is at. Such a word can easily be replaced by solution, concept, etc.
