Great book. Good way to be introduced into the Analytical-Synthetical method of geometry. As opposed to learning it from a textbook, having it taught through experience is much better. Seeing everything analyzed, and then subsequently applied is absolutely fascinating. I seem to know a bit about the idea of a diorismos as well.
Very interesting text, and a great way to complete my understanding of On Conics. I will be reading another book by Ibn Al-Haytham in the future, On the Configuration of the World, so I look forward to reading this author
Second read: I have finished this book once more. Upon the second read, I find more things about the method he used that I agreed with more, some methodology, like certain syntheses, whose use I sort of disagreed with actually. Overall though, it was a good re-read. I will not be doing it again
