As a country boy, who loves plants, mushrooms, trees, grasses, animals and natural remedies, I love this book.
It gives me a brief understanding of interesting plants i find on my travels, and has concise details about their medicinal value and which part of the plant to prepare.
Since having the book, i drink stinging nettle tea, eat dandelions, have dandelion tea and make lots of infusions and tinctures using burdock, mullein, thistles, hawthorn and much more..
I would say I am far healthier from utilising this book, and my gut microbiome doesn't know what hit it.

Easy to use, and a wealth of information on plants of Britain.
What a fantastic buy.
There are locally souced plants good for liver and kidney cleansing, heart trouble, respiratory trouble, high blood pressure, brain health, inflamation, arthritis and much more, right on your doorstep , if only you knew what to look for.
Once i find out which ailments I want to improve, i find the plant in my book, do even more investigation online, and it helps breed confidence in my own natural remedies.
then i get out there find the plant, dig it up and take it home.

I don't think I will need another plant book, as this thing covers everything I ever set eyes on in the wilds of England, and for more in depth knowledge, you can just get it online, once you know what you are after..

Indispensable guide - since being shown it I got a copy almost the next day, I’ve read it cover to cover, it’s full of information and lore. Extremely useful as a starting point or as a reference.
