A Jury of One's Fears

Rate this book
Gwen Hubbard thought working for an old-school detective would be a fun way to make ends meet as she heals from two abusive marriages. And there was the added perk of the handsome widower working in the same building. But when Gwen hears about the death of a casual friend from her support group, her own new detective instincts kick into gear. She knows it was no accident. As a series of murders of abused wives unfolds, she pulls her boss and her new romance into a fast-paced quest for the truth. Time is running out for the next victims, and saving them could get her killed.

Loved this book. It’s the first one in a long time I found hard to put down. Read it on record time. Annette kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what’s going to happen next. I hope there is more to come with these easy to root for characters.

My favorite thriller to date. The romance was a nice touch but not too overbearing. A real pro-women book! Love the characters and excited to see if there will be a sequel!
