Really interesting, to see what had happened to our Lady Abigail in the aftermath of the discovery of her relationship with American lass, Mel Lawrence.

A very emotive and yet strengthening read. Seeing Abigail come back into her own, and take charge of her life and prospects!

I really enjoyed the story and details, and the cross over from Shanghaied: A Woman Down Under Series Prequel and seeing things from Abigail's perspective.

I'm looking forward to reading the series.

Good book

Abigail's life has never been easy growing up under her father Lord Baxter. His gambling has ruined things for his family. Abigail first love will always be Melissa Lawrence is will never forget the love they had and how it ended. Lord Worthing was much older then her but took her as a wife and paid her father's debt but still kept gambling. Things get crazy when his lordship passes and her father tries to take over. A look into how Abigail survive her husband's passing.
