A decent history. Author was mentored by Noel Browne but does an adequate job recognizing both his brilliance and unreliability as a source. Main problem with the book was that it was really, really overwritten. Sentences were stretched out to sound clever or conversational but really just made the book more difficult to read. But overall a good read on the topic.
