A Tense Quick Read
This is a short book, but it is such an interesting premise that I was instantly attracted to it. Four adults, three men and a woman, find themselves handcuffed to pipe around the walls of an underground room. They have no recollection of how they got there and they are unknown to each other. Their imprisoner informs them they will all die in eight hours unless they can discover the reason they are being held. As time passes, we learn about each of the four and clues about their captor.
I found this a very easy read, as you get swept up in the drama and the countdown. This is primarily a short story and I would have enjoyed more flesh adding to each of the prisoners, but there is nothing wrong with leaving you wanting more. Not all loose ends are tied up, but if you want a tense, quick read, then this book ticks the boxes.

This story reminds me of the classic Saw movies, and it gives you the same suspenseful and dreadful anticipation of impending doom. The ties that bind are not obvious for the reader, and nothing is predictable. Even the ending is a fantastic twist. Loved it.

This book reminded me a lot of Saw and that was a tad off putting. It’s a very quick read and has an interesting twist to it.

This book was definitely intriguing . A short fast paced story of 4 people waking up in a room not know how they got there. Trying to figure it was a daunting task. It was so good with an ending you didn’t see coming. I definitely need to read the of the series.
