Sugar Meets Lola: An Unexpected Guardian
Sugar and Jaxson are livestock guardian dogs and work hard to protect the farm animals from danger. A bobcat has been spotted a few miles away. Then, Sugar gets a whiff of something. Is it the bobcat? No! There stands the most unusual creature she's ever seen and she says she's a livestock guardian.

Great book to teach kids about different animals!
My daughter Sofia is 4 and loved this story. She loved Lola the llama! She said she never knew that llamas kick to protect themselves and she loved the pictures with all the other animals! We will be reading the rest of the books!

Great book
Great book that introduces children to working dogs and other animals on a farm.
Wonderful addition of facts at the end.
I would have liked to have seen the donkey incorporated as a guardian to calves/cows.
