Our family enjoyed listening to the stories.

I liked this audiobook and the kids did as well. I thought that I knew the stories of Paul Bunyan and the others, but was surprised that there were more stories than I recalled. I think that my favorite was the last story about The Fastest Draw in the West due to all the alliteration of the names of the people involved in the story.

A friend recommended audio books read by Jim Weiss. I thought these tall tales were just okay, but I'm listening to another CD by him right now with fairy tales that is much better. This was so-so for me, but my 6 yr. old son did enjoy it.
