Hello Dear Reader,

Thank you for stopping by.
I'm not on Goodreads as much as I am on Facebook. Here's the link to my Reader Group.

My books are steamy romances, filled with characters who haven't given up hope of finding 'Happily Ever After'. Except that sometimes it doesn't happen right away and sometimes it's hard to trust it will happen at all.

Finding love after heartbreak is a real thing. It happened to me, it happens to my characters and it will happen to you.

If you're anything like me, you're a sucker for a happy ending.

Blessings,
Connie

This is the 6th book in this series, and this is Frank and Becky’s story. This is a good story which has family, challenges, 2nd chances, emotions, and love, which leads to a steamy page turner.

I enjoyed this book so much! First one I have read by this author. I received an eARC from the author in exchange for my honest opinion. “Wild Awakening” is book three in the Springfield Small Town Romance (Wild Romance) series. In it’s pages we find the warm, sweet story of Frank and Becky.

Becky is a young widow, her husband having died in a tragic car accident. She is slowly trying to move on with the help of her family and friends.

Frank was her brother’s best friend and he always had feelings for Becky but could not act on them. After his father passes away, Frank and his mother leave Springfield. It’s been 15 years but he finally returns to visit his family. Sparks fly between Frank and Becky at a chance meeting but neither acts on them right away.

Can Frank find his way beyond his mother’s “teachings” and his medical condition (no, he isn’t dying) to act on his feelings for Becky this time around? And can Becky finally open her heart to love once more, or will the memories of her deceased husband continue to hold her back?

Believable, well-written characters with an unusual storyline made for a quick, enjoyable read! Now I have to read the first two books! Thank you, Connie Clark, for the eARC of this book, in exchange for my opinion.

This is a bittersweet book about a neurodivergent man named Frank and the love of his life, Becky. Returning to town, Frank bumps into Becky but he sees that she is wearing a wedding ring. Becky seems to want to move on, but she's also afraid of forgetting the love that she had with her husband.

I loved both of these characters. It was so interesting to see how they navigated what would be a trap for people without their challenges, but those differences in them made it even more dramatic and heartbreaking to read. The moments where Becky said goodbye to her dead husband were incredible and made my heart so much for her.

Frank doesn't see the need for carnal relations, preferring to keep any relationships clinical. But that was before he ran into his high school crush. Now he can't help wondering if he's been missing out.
Becky feels like her heart was shattered when her husband was killed in a car accident three years ago. Her family and friends are pushing her to move on, so she's trying but her heart remains closed. It isn't until she bumps into Frank that she feels a spark of interest. This was an intriguing story. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
