I read this book (and several others in this series) to my first graders and we all loved it. Relatable characters, culture, diversity, problems...it's all there and kids hang on to every word. Hook young readers with a series that's my motto. It's key to building life long readers. Psst....it's FREE on the Epic! app. Gold trophy to Epic! from this teacher. A free reading app for classroom use with hundreds of leveled readers....a dream come true.
