Ben really wanted a dog of his own and knew just the sort he wanted. When Mrs Enright has to go to hospital Ben looks after her dog Princess Ting a ling. At first he hated Princess as she was nothing like to dog he had always imagined,but soon comes to love her and is not looking forward to returning her to Mrs Enright.
