Appropriate 3-5. As appropriate to the title, there are lots of colorful photos of animals at peace in their environment and natural habitat such as: the mountain lions of Arizona, Emperor Penguins of Antarctica, the honeybee in its hive, the giraffes on the grasslands of Africa, the Giant Sea Turtles of the Galapagos Islands. With the up close pictures, you feel as if you are in the picture coiled with the snake, and crawling on the beach with the sea turtle, or in the hole in the prairie with the Dakota Prairie.
