This book is a collection of various stories, most of them actually happened to the author of the particular story. There are 10 sections in the book. Each section is a different category of the true spirit of Christmas.
Most people think of presents and decorations when the topic of Christmas comes up. But the true spirit includes helping others and sharing what we have with others.
The short stories in this book bring out that spirit. And, it is brought out in ways you may not expect. (For example, a person barely surviving helps a person who has much to see the true meaning of Christmas. Or, a little child teaching an adult what Christmas is all about.)
I believe everyone would be touched by at least some of the stories included in this book. -Patron J.D.
I started this back in the third week of December last year, and I couldn't read it with a straight face. It would probably entice schmaltzy people, but if one were to do good deeds only in December, or celebrate good deeds only in Christmas, he or she isn't a true Christian. Goodness has no time limit.
This is a great selection of stories; I go back and read my favorites almost every year, as time allows. Now I view them just a little too cheesy for my tastes, but still inspiring to read and definitely put you in the Christmas spirit.
