My copy of Riding and Jumping has about given up the ghose, not surprising since it was a Christmas gift to me circa 1972. Steinkraus, coming from a publishing background, was not only a superb rider but also a talented writer whose instructions are succinct and easy to understand. A good read for those interested in the style that led US in show jumping.
