The Yoni Flower: (Primeval Ones: Plants of Pleasure & Horror Series Book 1) An Erotic Horror, Lovecraftian Splatterpunk Novel
A botanist named Allie Hannigan who loves plants a little too much does something naughty with the phallic flower she's just discovered deep in the unexplored regions of Olympic National Park. The morning after , she makes a horrific discovery-a discovery between her legs that changes the course of her life forever. A few days later, a quest to discover what lies beneath the soil of the strange plant leads to a terrifying revelation and a deadly accident... Oh, but it doesn't end there... As it turns out, five minutes of pleasure didn't just cause several lifelong changes to her body, it also means she can't hookup with a man anymore without them contracting a horrible, life-threatening disease... The Yoni Flower is an erotic horror/sci-fi, splatterpunk story intended for adults who are into tentacles, monsters, and Lovecraftian tales of titillation. As such, this novel contains strong language and graphic descriptions. And, for those who don't know what splatterpunk is, that means this story contains text written to elicit a certain gross-out factor. So, if that's not for you, this book might be something you want to skip. For more details, please see the content warning in the front matter of the book.

I love weird stories.....this is just something else! 200 pages seemed to last forever and each page just got weirder! My brain needs cleansing after this.

I read this not long after reading the first book featuring the giant worm from the Amazon rain forest, and I found this one to be just as much fun with far more spice!
Allie Hannigan is a botanist and a self-professed 'ecosexual' who finds pleasure in nature (wink, wink). I can't even begin to tell you all of the things she has found that special joy with. While she's hiking in Olympic National Park, she finds a strange flower that she's never seen before, and it's in an phallic shape too. Allie being Allie, you can guess where she puts it. Because this book is horror, you can also guess that she probably shouldn't have done that.
This installment had a surprisingly complex plot that ended up making a lot of sense. Were there things that didn't make sense? Of course, but I find that to be the case in just about every book I read. This series is fun, spicy, and doesn't take itself too seriously. On to the next book because this one ended on a cliffhanger!
Available on KU with a censored cover or in paperback with the original cover.

Wow! This was not as good as the previous novel, but it was still solid! Only negative critique would be it was about 50 pages longer than it needed to be.
Okay, on to the Yoni! lol! Okay so, Allie is a nasty, nasty freak of a ecosexual that has sex with plants and veggies and just decides to fuck a plant phallus in a forest and gets cummed in..man, this was a lot and sexy but freaking weird. I was prepared for that craziness from the Uterboscis novella but after she fucked Matt it got splatterpunk horror weird! But I loved the characters and smut and I didn’t mind the weird. But like I said this was unnecessarily longer than it needed to be. But the tie in to the other story was great. Solid 4/5

This book was just as good as the amazonian uteroboscis. As a woman, the yoni flower creeped me out less than the uteroboscis so I did find it a bit more fun. Lol.
Solid storyline. So much fun to read. I loved how the author has connected both books, it was very clever and I'm looking forward to reading Lizzy's flower lizzy next!

It was fun to jump back into the spicy plant world Overton made for us! I liked book one in the series better, but I still enjoyed this one, especially the last 2/3 of the book. I liked the tie in, and even though I didn’t plan on reading the last one, I’m starting it now to complete the crazy tale.

The third installment in an eco-sexual erotica. If it hadn't been for the ages of the characters it might have been a better story.
