Pretty lame collection: first half has some shoet stories in the realm of fantasy, fairy tales with various subjects, but most having magic at their core. Not much to learn from them. Second half are sort of SciFi themed, but again not very interesting. The million stars, for instance got me puzzled, when the hero spoke about inheriting a million stars ! and only pretty late learned that their money were called stars. All stories appear to be written by a teen, just learning to write
An enjoyable set of short stories, leaving you with the desire to know more about each character. It’s difficult to balance world building, character development and the world of magic in a few pages, but the author does just that.
