Seeing Red: The Chic Charnley Story

Rate this book
Chic Charnley is one of the most controversial, colourful characters in Scottish football history. Blessed with awesome talent, incredible ability and spectacular skills, he's the player who could, and should have been one of the biggest names in sport. But, by his own admission, he blew it. This is his story in his own words.

They just don't make 'em like Chic anymore. There was a time when every team had at least one, a madcap rogue half-genius, half-lunatic: Mark Dennis, Denis Holloway, Trevor Hockey, Robin Friday, Steve Kindon and of course the daddy of them all, George Best. Chic got so many red cards during his career he papered his living room with them all. But what a talent, the perfect antidote to today's pampered and primped ballerinas
