This book is one where you work through it. Can't be read in one go or really REALLY shouldn't but I did. Now I go back and start over and this time work through it and not skip some of the steps. If you can just do what she asks you will not regret it.

There were some questions answered that have plagued me for years. Example: seeing bright dust ( for lake of a better description) surround a place or me and feel extremely drained later or seeing that same bright dust in geometric form and what it means.

More idea about sheilding, centering and discerning (main point) what is around me. I am slowly cleaning my sacred imagination. I understand why it is so important not to have my head filled with tv that is not supportive to my spiritual growth and how it can impeded interpretation and progress.

I have a hug k-drama addiction I am slowly releasing.;-)

This is not a basic book. Nor is it filled with spells. It is filled with practical guidance and wisdom you can only find by sitting with a wise teacher. This comes close enough!

This book applies the concepts of spiritual discernment to psychic protection and shows the practitioner how to use spiritual discernment to recognize situations and people that aren't in alignment with the practitioner. The author provides some useful examples and exercises that the reader can use to apply spiritual discernment to their own practice. This is a useful book for beginning and advanced practitioners, as you will glean some gems of insight out of this text. The only downside to this text is that the author wrote it in two huge sections, instead of breaking it into chapters. However the various subheadings can be treated as mini-chapters for reading purposes. For any practitioner, the practices in this book will help them critically examine their relationships and spiritual practices with an eye toward discerning what is or isn't in alignment with them.

This book is fabulously well written. The author approaches the topic from an academic as well as experiential angle. I appreciate this greatly. Far too often in modern magickal texts we find a great deal of anecdotal information, and very little research.

In this text you will find a well detailed discussion of the importance of spiritual discernment, and recognizing that one must not work beyond one's own skillset. The author also shares with the reader a number of activities for increasing your abilities safely, in this realm of experience.

I recommend this book for all levels of Magickian. It is geared toward the Initiate, but is an excellent review for the Adept and/or Teacher.
