I will also not relinquish my crown. The fight has begun and I will not stand back and let others fight for me. This princess is taking on the evil king himself.Secrets of the Fae is the second story in an exciting new Reverse Harem series.
Jamie was born into a big, crazy family of 6 children. Being the youngest, she always got away with anything and would never shut up. Constantly letting her imagination run wild, her teachers were often frustrated when her ‘What I did on the weekend’ stories contained bunyips and princesses.
Growing up, Jamie did the sensible things and obtained a Bachelor of Business degree from Southern Cross University and worked hard to gain her membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Yet nothing compared to writing. Quitting the rat race to spend quality time with her laptop named Lily, Jamie has written several novels and screenplays. Spanning a number of genres and mediums, Jamie writes whatever inspires her from ghost stories to teenage love stories to tantalising murder mysteries. Nothing is off limits.
A self-confessed television addict, dog lover, Taylor Swift fan, and ghost hunter, Jamie loves nothing more than the thrill of sharing her stories.
This was a quick, fun, fast-paced read that picked up right where the previous book left off and helped ease the anxiety from that cliffhanger we were left with in book one! We got to learn a bit more about the Dark Fae and we were introduced to the “True King”, Feryn. As crazy as Feryn seems to be, I actually really enjoyed his character and his unpredictable behaviour! I also like the direction Paige’s relationship with her advisors is going, but I was hoping to get just a bit more of it. (Although with all the action and drama Paige faces in this book I suppose there really wasn’t much time for dating or anything!) And of course this book leaves off on another bombshell ending... I cannot wait to find out how this will all play out!
