"Finding My Baby" is the second book in the Reunited Series. Each book in the series is a steamy standalone midlife romance featuring a mature couple, meddling best friends, impossible reunions, and a guaranteed happily ever after. "Finding My Baby" includes references to past events that some readers may find triggering.
This is a heartfelt story with a mother and daughter coming together after an adoption along with a sweet and steamy romance with said mother and her daughter's adopted uncle. It's an emotional story with all the feels and has detailed and descriptive scenes. The author throws in humor and brings a strong cast of secondary characters and delivers an enjoyable read.

I really enjoyed this story. Emily and Brian met briefly at a 25 year hs reunion. They had one dance and then she had to leave. A little while later, his niece told him she had contacted her birth mother.. He went with her and they both heard how she got pregnant. At the time, they didn't remember they had dance together, but were attracted to each other. His niece was all for them getting together. Emily was very loath to be in a relationship, but Brian pressed on, He loved her, but she pushed him away. When she got bad news about her parents, he was the first person she called to help her get through it. Still she pushed him away. Her daughter finally got involved to resolve their issues. A good read

Finding My Baby is a journey of fate, connections and overlaying chances that makes Jane, Emily and Brian's story one that grabs at your heart and has you falling in love over and over.
Just graduating college, Emily had to give up Jane for adoption. Now twenty-one years later, the adoption opened, and Jane was able to reach out to Emily. When they meet, they realize not only the similarities, but how their lives crossed without knowing it.
Brian has a feeling that he has met Emily, even before he went to her office. When the light clicked on, she was the one he had in his arms at the reunion. Their passion and connection are strong, but Emily is tentative of what she wants.
Great story from start to finish, that makes it hard to put down.

I enjoyed this one more than the previous book in the series although they were both good easy reads. Can be read as a stand alone, you wouldn't miss any of the story by not reading the earlier book, but characters do appear in both. Characters have lived a little (40's), but are still not ready for pipe and slippers.

This is a wonderful emotional story with Emily who gave up her daughter for adoption twenty one years ago only for the said daughter Jane to track Emily down wanting to know about her mother. Brian is the guardian of Jane due to the death of her parents and wants to also meet Emily to make sure that Jane does not get hurt only to find out that he has met Emily before. Loved the story and the characters were perfect.
Brian McKenna and Emily Langdon meet when he goes as his friend Lainie’s date for her twenty-fifth high school reunion. Emily has a lot from her past that she has to get over, but her past just came to see her. I enjoyed seeing this story come together. Interesting and enjoyable read. Have a good storyline. Finding mother/ daughter after 21 years was very touching ,not so many families finding that easy or understanding . Topping with the sweet romance it was good read.

This is an emotional but humorous book at the same time. Meeting the daughter she gave up for adoption 21 years ago is a difficult thing to do and it also introduces her to Brian. Can new relationships develop in this closely linked group.

This is entertaining and very emotional heartwarming story. It does deal with some challenging subjects and might be a trigger for some. I love the characters. It is a fairly quick read; novella length. So worth the read. Emily and Brian are so perfect for each other. Jane is wonderful too.
