Justine Avery is the #1 international bestselling and award-winning author of stories large and small, for all. Born in the American Midwest and raised all over the world, she is inherently an explorer, duly fascinated by everything around her and excitedly noting the stories that abound all around. As an avid reader of all genres, she weaves her own stories among them all. She has a predilection for writing speculative fiction and story twists and surprises she can’t even predict herself.

Avery has either lived in or explored all 50 states of the union, over 36 countries, and all but one continent; she lost count after moving 30-some times before the age of 20. She’s intentionally jumped out of airplanes and off the highest bungee jump in New Zealand, scuba dived unintentionally with sharks, designed websites, intranets, and technical manuals, bartered with indigenous Panamanians, welded automobile frames, observed at the Bujinkan Hombu Dojo in Noba, Japan, and masterminded prosperous internet businesses—to name a few adventures. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree that life has never required, and at age 28, she sold everything she owned and quit corporate life—and her final "job"—to freelance and travel the world as she always dreamed of. And she’s never looked back.

Aside from her native English, Avery speaks a bit of Japanese and a bit more Spanish, her accent is an ever-evolving mixture of Midwestern American with notes of the Deep South and indiscriminate British vocabulary and rhythm, and she says "eh"—like the Kiwis, not the Canadians. She currently lives on either side of "the pond" with her husband, acclaimed British film director and author Devon Avery, and other creatures. She writes from wherever her curiosity takes her.

Avery loves to connect with fellow readers and creatives, explorers and imaginers, and cordially invites you to say “hello”—or konnichiwa.

Cute activity for potty training!

This is a super cute coloring book for young children and it’s super cute and silly! My nephew is 3 and in the throes of potty training and he thought this was “really neat!” All in all a super cute book to help spend some time on the potty.

Everybody wants to color some “mighty poo” right?

Please don't take that line too seriously, like this book it's meant to be a bit of fun though I do wonder what makes someone a mighty pooper, ha.
According to the blurb this coloring book came to be with younger readers in mind, personally I wouldn't have thought that “a glaring need” but sure, if you give this to someone who uses the jumbo crayons they'll probably have an easier time with this than with the other versions from this series.
Naming some pros to this series. I'd have to start by stating that I like the cover and how one might associate it with the “premise” of mighty poopers. I also appreciate that this one has some new original art and overall I like the style of this even if the idea of it is something I'm only so-so on. As for cons, other that the ones already said I don't have any more, maybe that this is a little short but that could be said is a matter of taste.
So bottom line is that I would recommend this to those who aren't squeamish (this *is* at the heart of it part of a series “talking” about poo) and to those who for whatever reason want (need) bigger pictures to color in but other than that this isn't really much more than it says on the tin (despite that I give it five stares let it be clear it's because it's a coloring book i.e. simple mission and it's accomplished and with no great con in my eyes I don't see any reason to score it less than that.)

I liked the original book that inspired this one well enough but on seeing I was just left thinking to myself: really? *Really?* But cynicism aside just like the book that started it all this can be a teaching tool or just a way to introduce (talk about) a subject that could be uncomfortable, so in the end it's a 'sure why not?' Not something I personally felt the world needed but the story *is* cute and I can't fault someone for wanting it if they do.
For pros I appreciate that the cover itself is meant to be colored (though from past experiences I'm wondering just how hard/easy a task that is, mostly because it'll need some modpodge or something to keep the colors from wearing) and the “master” concept of the book itself reminds me of those mandala books that are suppose to be relaxing. Whether this one is relaxing or not I leave to each person to judge, personally it's just blah to me but I do like the art style so it's more a blah because of the subject more than anything else. As for cons I might name that I'm not really into teeny tiny details when it comes to coloring (not that all the pictures are *that* detailed mind you, however some are) but I'm not really that into coloring in general so I'd call it a subjective con however because this isn't really much more (conceptually speaking) than “the original book but coloring” I'm giving it a four because it's fine but it doesn't blow me away.
If you found the Everybody Poops book useful or you just liked it then you'll probably like this, especially if you like to color, or who knows maybe just for the aesthetic but basically if the whole “poop” thing doesn't put you off then this is a perfectly serviceable coloring book.

Wonderful Accompaniment Book

This is such a cute accompaniment to Everybody Poops. This coloring book is great for all kids learning about pooping. As an aunt of 3 autistic children, I know how crucial it is that they have several ways of approaching their learning. A lot of kids are visual learners. This coloring book is a great tool for this. I highly recommend!
