This really is a beginner's guide--adventurous beginner, and that's as it should be. On 38 pages, there are 26 stitch patterns, 7 projects, basic calculations for adapting your gauge to suit the projects, and the basic needle movements. I'd not recommend this for the first-time beginner; it's better suited to someone with a suitcase for of yarn and lots of time in transit...oh, the places you'll go...
