This time Charlie Delta is in Kansas trying to outrun the tornados that are destroying everything.

Casey has brought her crew including the missing Gabe to Kansas to fight the destruction the tornados are doing. Trying to get people out of the path of roaring rage that hop skip and jumps with a will of its own. If they can’t get there in time then to try and find those left alive a mixed the mess left behind. To try to outguess the path those downspouts will go when they don’t have a clue. Casey get a call from her mother that she has to come home right now. How do you explain you can’t you are on mission. When its over then she can go. But as usual nature has its way and the team is caught in the very front of a new wide spout. The chopper is down and they are in the path.

Back into the fire with this rescue based in Tornado Alley. Growing up in Nebraska, this is a disaster that I am more than familiar with. The authors took this storyline and created a book that is frighteningly close to living through a series of twisters. After the drama and excitement of this rescue mission Casey realizes (after talking to her brother) that is time to make a trip home to see her brothers and her parents. Many personal things happen in this book that will ultimately affect the entire crew going forward.

Fury

This trip for the search and rescue unit was tornados. This time they were racing with the wind trying to remove people from the pathways of the tornados. The black hawk was damaged and Alex broke his leg but that would not stop them.
