I bought this manuscript at Abril books which specializes in Armenian books. Arshile Gorky is one of my favorite artists and I am a native of Fresno. Recently I have gotten reacquainted with my Armenian affinity by an Armenian friend. He took me to Glendale and Abril books.

The brief essays and rather meager artifacts presented in this Fresno exhibition are still heartening to me. Had I known about the show I would have attended. I feel the love and appreciation for the artist and the ideas he expressed. Gorky suffered tremendous loss and his art became a way for him to channel that energy and transform it into an expression any one else.
