Pa: Hello, Brontë.
Brontë: Hello, Papa.
Pa: How are you?
Brontë: Good.
Pa: What did you get today for finishing this book?
Brontë: Ummm ... nothing.
Pa: Ummm ... wrong.
Brontë: What did I get? OH! The books. Two books.
Pa: What books?
Brontë: Ummm ... a Bat book and a Shark book, which I am trading for Scoutie's bug book.
Pa: Excellent. So what did you think about Indy?
Brontë: Well, I thought it was really cool. At the end, when they came out of the Temple with the Crystal Skull they said the Hovitos were close to the people who were chasing Indy and his friends.
Pa: What were those people called?
Brontë: The Ugha tribe.
Pa: So you like Indy?
Brontë: Yep.
Pa: What do you like about him?
Brontë: That he doesn't use his gun much. That he goes on adventures, and that he makes new friends every time he does it.
Pa: What's your favourite friend of Indy's in this book?
Brontë: Ummm ... Oxley.
Pa: really? Why him?
Brontë: Because he was the one who was always giving Indy hints about how to get the Crystal Skull. Because he was giving him hints all this way, and he holds the Crystal Skull, and in the LEGO game they really need him to get the spiders away from him and I think it's in the movie and in the book, but I can't remember.
Pa: You say "ummm" alot.
Brontë: Ummm ... I don't know why. I guess it is because ... ummm ... okay, now I am saying it on purpose, but yes I do say it a lot and I don't know why.
Pa: Don't worry about it. Were there any other friends you liked?
Brontë: Short Round.
Pa: He was in the book? Why do you like him?
Brontë: Because he's smart and he always tells Indy the truth, like when he says that he didn't mean to touch the thing, or like he did with the dead people. And he doesn't whine as much as Willy Scott.
Pa: But didn't he cheat at cards? That's not telling the truth.
Brontë: Right. He did do that, but still ... I just like him.
Pa: Okay.
Brontë: And I like Marion. And I love when she was old. I think she looks way more better in that suit when she was old, and if I could choose whatever I would choose that because it looks awesome on her. I love how she's, like, in the book the only time I saw her when she was old she was behind Oxley.
Pa: Cool. Anything else?
Brontë: Nope. And this time I didn't say "ummm" on purpose.
Pa: Groovy. You are done.
Brontë: Hello, Papa.

A solid level 2 reading book for any young adventure fan learning to read. My 5 yr old son reads this one on his own, over and over again, it being one of his favorites. Accompanied by some of the best photographs from the movies, it's a great addition to any children's library.
