As often happens in the elementary school classroom, the excellent question in this book's title sets in motion really good learning.

Numbers can be depicted in different ways. That's really what this book is all about.

* Is a written-out number like fourteen really a number?
* The answer to an equation, like 7+7 = is also a number.
* Coins can total a value that's numerical, an amount of money.

Other examples are cleverly shown as well.

A true FIVE STAR book here!
