Dr. James T. Webb is an aerospace medicine researcher and a pioneer in the research of decompression. In the 1960s, he identified bubbles on sonography in study participants exposed to rapid decompression. He was associated with the USAF School of Aviation Medicine at Brooks Air Force Base.

Webb is President of the
Aerospace Medical Association. He is also an independent consultant through his company, Scientific Aerospace Research Consulting.
