Not even one panel of Abbie or Slats- this is entirely "Bathless Groggins" material.
The SAME (intrinsic) joke is repeated so much that it ruined most of the plot throughout his many stand-alone exploits.
The amount of tight and words that jam up the strips make this an actual prose read- but panels are constantly and infuriatingly repeated to update the reader from the strip directly before. Zero faith in regular readers' memory and the insecurity that a new one NEEDS the strip before to understand or that they wouldn't dare continue if couldn't get the continuity of a single day.
I look at this thin book with scorn for the amount of time it took me to finish and the insulting predictability of the plots.
