I am one of those lucky people that have done many things on my voyage through life, including ten years as a pilot in the United States Army flying helicopters (where I met my wife, we celebrate our 20th year married this November). After the military, I worked as an operations leader for a manufacturing facility and a regional sales manager for a distribution company.
We have a 12-year-old daughter that is pretty sure that she is in charge (my wife and I are basically along for the ride). We have 2 cats (one of which is free to a good home...I tease). We call the Pacific Northwest home.
My love of reading led to my passion for writing. I hope that I never think of my journey as a writer complete to the point that I stop continuously trying to improve the craft. I attend conferences often to be surrounded by other writers and to learn how they do their magic.

Special Operations, Private Security Forces, CIA, Rogue Agents, Election Rigging. And thats only a snippet of the exciting story in "It's Who You Know".

I highly recommend reading this book, especially if you're into realistic military plots. The central plot in this book is about the bond of friendship and what friends would be willing to do should one of them need the others' help. Put those same friends in a high stakes abduction on foreign soil and see just what military trained friends would do to rescue one of their own.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was there were two instances where the POV transition was a little choppy. This does not hurt the story in any way, I just had to do a double take to make sure I hadn't missed something.

Hopefully there is a sequel in the future!

It is obvious this author had experience flying helicopters (as evidenced by the notes about the author) and a knowledge of mission details - or he did his research. I don't know much about these sort of things other than what I read but found this book to be a very good read. I'm pleased that he already has a follow-up story in the works.
