Canterbury and Rome, sister churches: A Roman Catholic monk reflects upon reunion in diversity

Rate this book
During the twentieth century, the search for unity between the churches has become increasingly active. Where hostility existed in the past, there is now an attempt to undertand and overcome the historical differences. In this book, Rober Hale uses Roman Catholicism and Anglicanism as examples in setting up a model to search for understanding.

Though published in the 80s, this book is still so good and relevant, and deeply encouraging to read. Hale writes a compelling and beautiful history and argument for Roman-Anglican ecumenism.
