- This book takes place in Mali and is one of the books representing Africa on my list "Seven Continents of Books 2021" -
I listened to this as an audiobook through Hoopla, thanks to the public library.
It's written in a simple style and would be accessible to most elementary school students. I learned many things about this leader, who I hadn't heard of before, and it made me want to learn more about Mansa Musa and West African history.
