I most definitely had to be on the ARC team for this one as I really could not wait until the release date for this bombass story.
I remember begging the writer to write this book because I knew with everything within me, that Kevin and Yvette's story was not done. They needed more time. Yup, lots more things needed to happen and even more words had to be said.
The writer and I shared a love hate relationship for this one as she was reluctant to some extent but she did not disappoint. She did the damn thing‼️
The author left no stones unturned as she allowed the characters to go deep and when I say deeep... I mean real deeeeeeeeeep!! So much so that Yvette went crazy 🤣. I just loved how much they love each other. Nothing was out of bounds, there was no one they wouldn't kill or nothing they wouldn't do to stay together and that's the trait that grabbed me from book one.
Then there came the healing. Throughout the series I hated lil Miss Yvette mainly because I felt like the writer was soft on her, had her dishing all the dirt and looked like she was about to get off scotch free. Thank God that wasn't the case because in my eyes, you need to be able to take just as much as you give.
The writer finally gave Yvette a taste of her own medicine. And that made everything sweeter for me. It forced the characters (especially Yvette) to open up, accept, release and move on and it was so beautiful that I almost cried.
And I couldn't end t the review without talking about the sex..... ohhhhhh mah gawwddd! Do I need to say more?

This is by far the best series and I'm so happy that it came to fruition.
Thank you so so much Mrs. Miller for putting your foot into this one.

I read all her books and for good reasons. They are deliciously sinful.
