Do you believe in angels? Brooke Jacobs doesn't. Brooke Jacobs is successful by outward appearances. She's young, she's a doctor, and she has nothing tying her down. But she knows that all is not as it appears. She is aware of her own dysfunction and inability to connect with other people. She has never bonded, never cried or loved, never truly experienced the divinity of life. It is not until she meets a mysterious stranger at a bookstore in Portland, Oregon that she begins her journey of self-discovery. It is a journey that will lead her to Fairbanks, Alaska and to a profound understanding of the depth and timelessness of her own soul.
WOW, I'm surprised I'm the first one reviewing Elo'esh: the whispers of angels here on goodreads. This book deserves to be noticed by more people.(I feel like I just found a treasure and I want to brag about it.) This was an amazing read and I'm not just saying that because I just finished it and I'm still happy on it because thats not the case; this is actually my second time reading this book, the reason I did this (apart from just enjoying it so much) was to see if I would feel the same way about it and yes people I still do, I LOVED IT!!!! This book is so beautiful that the story and the characters stayed in my mind long after I had finished reading the last page which by the way it also left me intrigued to see that will happen with brooke and that misterious stranger next (im not sure if I should mention his name since in the synopsis it's concealed for a reason) I would recommend Elo'esh to anyone who enjoys a story with angels in it or even someone thats new to this genre. if the author is planning on writing a sequel to this, I'll defenitely read it. Thank you Kaylea May, for writing and publishing this amazing book. I'm a fan.
I edited my review ( only to take out my "constructive critizism" part of my earlier review, what was I thinking, writing that part in the first place?)I hope I'm allowed to do that lol
