Blood Redemption

Long-legged and powerful, Wes Lane's palomino leads Red Thornton's black by barely a length. As Red's horse quickens, its legs bunching close to its belly, Wes slams his quirt down with every gallop. The black runs steady, advancing until its nose is even with the palomino's...In the race as in life, cousins Red and Wes are bitter rivals--Wes the spoiled heir of the sprawling White Willow Ranch and Red the son of a humble rancher. In the heat of an argument, Wes is poised to murder an unconscious Red, but, in a panic, kills the onlooking barkeep instead. Red awakens to find himself framed for Wes's crime and is quickly sentenced and sent off to Yuma. Released from his false imprisonment, Red returns home to find Wes forced into hiding, White Willow taken over by a gang of outlaws, and his own prized mustangs stolen. Setting out to retrieve his property and clear his name no matter the challenge, Red's plans begin to unfold. But when the outlaws kidnap Wes's son, Red must forget revenge and join with his enemy to save the innocent child.

This was a great read! It's got a little of everything; intrigue, action and even a little romance. The fast pace keeps the pages turning and I read it in one sitting. Great story, excellent book.

Great read

Really enjoyed this book. But I don't think I could have been as forgiving as Red if my cousin had sent me to prison for 3 years for a murder he committed. Look forward to more books by. A H Holt.

An AHH. Western Adventure/A Good Man Framed For Murder/Prison/Back Home Again

AHH. has. penned a western adventure about a young rancher who is framed for murder, but was reduced to Man. - Slaughter. He served his time and returns home to find very little has changed in attitudes. Everything switches one hundred eighty degrees when a letter his Uncle wrote proves his innocence. A gang has taken over his ranch and the ensuing fights corrected the path to legality. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Blood Redemption

Red and his cousin Wes were fierce competitors where their horses were concerned. It really was a shame that Wes never could take responsibility his own mistakes. However, framing his cousin for a murder that Red didn't do was really low, even for Wes. This was a great read with action and twists that I wasn't expecting. This was very enjoyable, especially for some one who loves old time westerns. BRAVO 👏👏BRAVO 👏
