Sinful Bachelors #3
Out of Bounds
I first met Ethan Carson when I was ten. One look and I knew he was trouble. He could charm you with his striking blue eyes, his killer smile, and a face that was made for Hollywood. But look closer and you’ll see the devil incarnate who was always a breath away from juvie. To say we were mortal enemies growing up is an understatement. I avoided him then, and I continue to do so now, even though he’s a cop— who would have thought? My avoidance tactics worked until the day I needed him. I took one tiny trip to Vegas, where we ended up drinking far too much. Big mistake-as in the mother of all mistakes. We woke up the next morning in bed! And neither of us can remember what happened. But wait, it gets worse. So much worse. That’s not the only thing we did. The come-to-Jesus moment hits when I see the wedding ring on my finger. We got married! I married the devil. Of course, I want this craziness fixed—ended—returned to the world where I’m not his Mrs. But he wants us to stay together because he has other ideas. When he makes me an offer I can’t refuse, I might be desperate enough to accept. I just hope I don’t lose more than I bargained for in this outlandish scheme. Like my heart.

I did not think this Khardine Gray book was as riveting as her books usually are. I enjoyed the plot even if the drunk marrying in Vegas and not remembering is commonplace. I liked that the millionaire, Ethan Carson, soon to be a billionaire by transfer of wealth from his grandfather, has overcome his time in juvey to become a police detective and enjoys his job. I also like the cover, which is a perfect picture of Ethan as the Italian descendant was described! And I love that he bared his soul to his love at sunset in his Grandfather's vineyard.

OUT OF BOUNDS by Khardine Gray is book two in the Sinful Bachelors Series. This is the story of Ethan Carson and Bree Dawson. Bree and Ethan have been mortal enemies as kids. Ethan didn't have a good childhood or the good example which added to why he bulled Bree. But now in their present day, a mistake in Vegas has found them tied together. Can these two find their happy ending? Enjoyed their story.

The first half of the book was really riveting especially because of the tension between Bree and Ethan. Bree doesn't know why from the first moment they met when they were kids, Ethan is set out to bully her. His treatment really took a hit on her.
Ethan doesn't think he deserves anything good in his life especially after witnessing his parents' marriage and his childhood. His reaction to Bree is definitely not one he wanted to explore more so he put her at arm's length. However, after a drunken night in Vegas, they find themselves married to one another and they're trying to use it to their own advantage. Ethan with inheriting his family's business and Bree with getting the building to start her dream business.
As I said, the first half was great. However, I wished the second half of the book was more developed and where the author could focus more on. I think their relationship development could have been showcased better in the second half, when they're married. I still enjoyed it very much. I liked the past of the story too.

They crossed the line. Two people who have been battling for years have to confront what is happening between them. Namely, their wild night in Vegas when they got married and proceeded to text all their friends about it. It seems what happened in Vegas didn't stay there.
Detective Ethan Carson is due to inherit a billion-dollar resort from his grandfather with the stipulation to meet Ethan's imaginary girlfriend whom he wants Ethan to marry. Fast forward to the unplanned and unexpected Vegas wedding which wouldn't have happened if Bree hadn't flown there to ask Ethan to let her buy one of his properties for her day spa dream. Because, after all, he owes her for pulling another prank on her regarding her criminal ex-boyfriend which was low and pretty shitty.
Okay. So when they get home, Ethan files for an annulment. But the plot thickens when Ethan's grandfather adds another stipulation that they stay married for six months and Ethan will get his inheritance. Ethan needs his wife to stay with him, and she wants his house for her business. Will flipping a coin seal his fate?
Ethan and Bree's relationship is volatile at best. Ethan bullied her all throughout high school because of his abusive home life, but she saw behind that angry exterior to the vulnerable boy who needed love. His life changed when he met and fell in love with a local woman named Amelia only to tragically lose her and swear to never love again. Bree's life after high school found her broke and working in a strip club at twenty but ironically an inheritance from her grandmother gave her the will to break even with her salon. However, with Ethan's help, she's finally ready to move on and make her dream of opening a spa come true. They are both so stubborn when it comes to admitting their feelings for each other so they literally have to get blackout drunk to do it? It's been known to happen. But the wedding photo says it all. The love and attraction are there. It takes some time and motivation, but they finally do admit it to themselves and each other.
I read book 1 of the series, Sins or Secrets earlier this year and was happy to see Logan and Quinn again. Ethan's grandfather is a driving force in Ethan's life as well as Amelia's father who nobly saved Ethan from a life of crime. Bree's Aunt Shelby is a lifesaver to Bree as well because Bree's parents and cousins are no picnic to be around. Ethan's friend and womanizer Bryce is next in line for the series and I can't wait to read about his demons.
I enjoyed this sweet and sexy romance with a timeline. It gives one hope to follow your dreams, and fight for what you want.
Thank you to Ms. Gray for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.

Oh the sexy Detective Ethan Carson.
I want me one of those!
Can I order a night in Vegas with a sexy Detective?
Bree seriously scored!
No...ok being bullied by him for most of her life sucked. I get it! Boys do that, they stink and all! Ethan did things to Bree that were so uncool he was lucky. Lucky she still spoke to him at all.
I loved this book. I was stuck to my seat reading it, went to wait at my kids school for pick up, I was reading it, waiting at an appointment today. I WAS STILL READING IT! Now I am done. But I don't want to be....
This is my first book by Khardine Gray and I freaking loved it! Her characters are well written and I cannot wait to discover more.

4.5/5 Stars
Out of Bounds by Khardine Gray is a great enemies/childhood bully to lovers/marriage of convenience romance. It was a quick read in the sense that I was able to finish it in a few hours, but that could be that I was really enjoying it and am generally a fast reader. I really enjoyed all of the characters, I found that while this book is part of a series you in now way need to read book one to enjoy Out of Bounds.
Growing up all Bree Dawson was was nice to Ethan Carson and that has only bitten her in the a**. He has only ever bullied her, called her names and generally made her life a living hell and she's always given him the benefit of the doubt. She hasn't seen him in years but now that their best friends are together again they are forced to spend time together and he still picks on her. But things go from bad to worse when she finds out her new boyfriend is in the Russian mob, has used her bank accounts to launder money and now Ethan has had her arrested (in her underwear) and interrogated her on their relationship. But she soon finds out he's taken it too far he's chased off all the guys she's ever dated and he didn't even need to arrest her. But Ethan has something she wants, a house that is perfect for her day spa so she confronts him in Vegas... And wakes up married to Ethan...
Police detective Ethan has always picked on Bree because he's always loved her, he just didn't know it. He also protected her from all of the scum bags that she has dated, and if he can get some chuckles out of it along the way all the better. But after his first love died of a debilitating disease and how his abusive father treated his mother he is determined to never get married. But then his grandfather has put a wrench in that plan... Just as Ethan is about to take over his family's billion dollar business his grandfather tells him about a stipulation, until he gets married he won't truly ever get married. While Ethan has told his grandfather he never wants to marry his grandfather says that it's for the best for him to finally marry his long time girlfriend Miranda. The only problem is he made up Miranda to get his grandfather to stop setting him up on blind dates. So when he wakes up in Vegas married to Bree he can't help but see the benefits of this mistake of a marriage so he proposes a deal, they stay married for six months so he can keep the family business and, she gets the house, fixed up, ready to be a spa. But when their fake marriage becomes more real how will Ethan and Bree deal with their feelings for one another?

3.75 stars—OUT OF BOUNDS is the second instalment in Khardine Gray’s contemporary, adult SINFUL BACHELORS erotic, romance series. This is thirty-two year old, detective Ethan Carson, and thirty year old, Bree Dawson’s story line. OUT OF BOUNDS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Ethan and Bree were first introduced in books one SINS AND SECRETS.
Told from dual firsts person perspectives (Bree and Ethan) OUT OF BOUNDS follows the building enemies to lovers romance and relationship between detective Ethan Caron, and Bree Dawson. Bree’s current boyfriend of six months is a member of the Russian Bratva, and our heroine has been caught up in the police investigation but Bree never expected to come face to face with her childhood enemy, the man who bullied our heroine, and destroyed her self-esteem. Enter detective Ethan Carson. At a friend’s bachelor party in Vegas finds Ethan comes face to face with Bree Dawson who needs a favor but the morning after finds our couple married, and Ethan is willing to use the marriage to his advantage, making Bree an offer she cannot refuse. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Bree and Ethan, and the potential fall-out as Ethan is unable to let go of his past, a past mired in heart break and loss.
The relationship between Bree and Ethan is an enemies to lovers such that Ethan is aware of the pain he has caused our story line heroine, the humiliation and degradation at our heroine’s expense but there is more to the story than Bree had realized, a story that Ethan believed would protect the woman with whom he would fall in love. Bree is desperate to open her own day spa, and Ethan offers everything in return for a marriage of convenience, a convenience for our story line hero. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
We are reintroduced to Quinn and Logan (Sins and Secrets), fellow police officer Bryce Taylor, as well as Ethan’s mother and grandfather; Bree’s mother, her cousin Lucy, her aunts Shelby and Denise.
OUT OF BOUNDS is a story of family and relationships, friendships and love. The premise is captivating; the romance is seductive; the characters are desperate, colorful and determined.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "OUT OF BOUNDS"
Khardine Gray you did an amazing job writing this bully to lovers romance in "Sinful Bachelors Series" I was addicting from the start to the finish.
Bree has never understood why Ethan Carson bullied her since they were kids he had some traumatic emotional abused issues didn't think he was loveable.
Detective Ethan Carson is about to get the billion dollar family business from his grandfather Mac who want to retire & move to Italy to the Vineyard he bought.
Ethan & his mother go to see Mac but he has stipulations for him to get the business it's old school he has to be married to get the business not something he was planning on after Miranda's death.
Ethan saves Bree from Liev Ivanov who's linked to Russian Bratva involved in a Drug Ring, money laundering she didn't anything about any of this but he's been saving her all her life from unsavory men she didn't he did that either.
Bree is at Quinn & Logan's barbecue when she finds from Bryce that when Ethan dragged her to the station after taking Liev in that it was just scare tatic & all the guys Ethan chased off over the years she was so angry she slapped hard & left.
Bree was talking to Aunt Shelby about want a house to open a Spa they found the house they wanted but didn't know it was one of Ethan's houses he was selling she had to go to Vegas to talk him into letting her buy it.
Ethan was annoyed at both Bruce & Denver while in Vegas left the room to only run into Bree in the lobby they went for a drink at the VIP lounge to talk things over.
Ethan & Bree woke next morning no memory of what happened night before other than they were wearing rings, a marriage license, messages to all their friends about getting married what a disaster he also told Mac who was thrilled.
Ethan was arranging an annulment in a week until Mac tells him now he has to stay married for 6mos.to get the business & their invited to the Vineyard in Italy sonething Bree would love.
Ethan & Bree take a walk in the vineyard at sunset he opens up about his past & Miranda bring the two of them closer than ever.
I definitely recommend to get this well written story I loved the journey Bree & Ethan take you on their chemistry was expolisive the ending was such a terrific surprise I'm so looking forward to next book "BRUCE'S STORY"

Really not what I was hoping for
After reading Quinn & Logan’s story I was super eager for this book, even preordering it. I pounced on it shortly after it hit my kindle and then came the disappointment!
I’m not sure what happened, but this is NOT the same caliber of writing as the prior book. Maybe this wasn’t edited, but good lord the story is messy. I read a ton of ARCs on a regular basis and I have gotten comfortable reading past grammatical errors and the wrong words in sentences because those are the usually not the final draft. Well in this book there are way too many examples of sentences not making sense or even seem to contradict what would make the most sense to be stated.
I’ve seen where others are raving about this book, and I was truly super eager to read it because of the taste of the sassy and sizzling interactions between Bree and Ethan in the prior book. If this book was edited to polish up and clean up the story, this truly could be an awesome story.
As it currently stands, I feel it’s a 3 to 3.5 star rating. I will admit my eagerness to read this story and then my disappointment in the actual book biases me to go with the lower rating. I rarely give low ratings and normally this would have been a DNF and I’d move on, but I pushed through until the end hoping it would get better and because I’ve enjoyed other books by this author - I will admit the later 1/3 or so of the book was either less problematic or I was just numb by that point and my brain ignored what initially frustrated me.
I also would have preferred a bit more of the development of Bree and Ethan’s relationship to be on the page versus described after the fact.
My opinion is obviously my perspective and mine alone, and everyone has different tolerances for what frustrated me with this book. You may love this book, but I think reviews should be honest and prepare prospective readers for what could be an awesome or not so awesome experience otherwise why bother to write or read reviews. I strongly suggest reading a sample of the book before buying it if you are at all hesitant of reading the book based on my review.

All reviews posted at Tales of Love, Life, and Murder
I’m a sucker for a good enemies-to-lovers and this one exceeded my expectations. She has good reasons to hate him and the marriage is solely thanks to a night out of blackout drinking but he has even better reasons to stay married and will make it worth her while. Bree and Ethan have a dark history so she’s livid when she’s forced to ask for a favor but nothing could prepare her for what happens next. Ethan was a huge jerk in the beginning so I wasn’t sure I could warm up to him but by a few chapters in, I was hooked. Sure, he’s jealous but his bad behavior had surprising benefits for Bree so it was easy to excuse him.
The blurred lines of a fake relationship are one of my favorite tropes and I enjoy the angst as the MCs wonder if their feelings are real and whether or not they’re unrequited. There’s a fine line between proper angst or for-the-love-of-god-just-have-a-conversation-already-you-morons but the author has just the right amount of nerves in these characters. They’re afraid to put their hearts on the line blindly but they risk it anyway because love is worth it.
I love the banter and the way these two interact so I really enjoyed their story. It’s short and left me wanting more, but that’s just me. There were no loose ends and the story wrapped nicely with a sweet ending and a HEA jump into the future, which I adore. I received an ARC from Social Butterfly PR in exchange for an honest review.

Ethan and Bree have known each other since childhood and to say they had a contentious relationship would be an understatement. Bree showed him some kindness and he paid her back by bullying her. What she didn't know is that Ethan had a crush on her but, as young boys often do, he picked on her to get her attention. When she sees him again as adults, she's on a date with her boyfriend who's laundering money for the Russian Bratva and Ethan pretends to arrest her to show her just how dangerous he is. She is furious at him, but she needs him for an opportunity that presents itself. Her dream is to own a spa and the house she has picked out belongs to Ethan, so he makes her a deal. His grandfather requires that he be married for a minimum of six months before he can inherit his billion dollar company and Bree needs money for the house. A fake marriage should take care of both of their needs. In Vegas for a bachelor's party, Ethan wants nothing to do with the horndog behavior of the groom-to-be and the strippers he hired, and goes for a walk. Who should he spot down the hall but Bree, who has come to talk to him about the deal. They go for drinks, get totally wasted and wake up married with wedding rings, and married life begins. It felt a little forced and uncomfortable at the start because Bree didn't know if she could tell him the truth about her feelings and Ethan seemed to be counting down the days, maybe minutes, until they file for divorce or get an annulment. Ethan turned mopey and weak and allowed the memory of Amelia to dictate his actions. Amelia left something for him that helped him to grow. The ending was slightly rushed and, even though it was happy, it felt a little thin. Overall, it's a very well-written story with vivid descriptions, emotional dialogue and extraordinary characters.

This one beautiful childhood-enemies to lovers story. Ethan had a hard childhood so when a young Bree tries to make friends with Ethan her takes her kindness and turns into being her bully even into adulthood. Bree has learned to stay away from Ethan since they are all part of the same group of friends. When Ethan was younger he was always into trouble but finds himself a successful police detective and he lets this one case become personal when the man he is after is dating Bree. Oh boy for him to pull the stunt he did Bree should slap his face a couple of times. Ethan knows he went too far but can’t take it back and when their friend gets drunk and spills EVERYTHING Bree is besides herself and unsure how to move forward. Bree decides to take steps to make her dream come true and goes after it…going after Ethan when he’s on a boys weekend in Vega. What happens in Vegas does not always stay in Vegas. These two spend an unforgettable night together, end up married and in bed together the next morning after texting everyone the night before. Ethan knows he needs to be married to inherit the family business and Bree needs the funds and house Ethan owns to open her spa so they decide to stay married. Watching the sunset in Italy is a beautiful way to share good news! What happens between them is something special and beautiful! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Out Of Bounds was an entertaining read. This is my first book by Khardine Gray and I’m so glad I finally got the opportunity to read one of her books.
Bree met Ethan Carson when she was 10 years old but he didn’t appear to be friendship material. Actually, he was her bully for years. His abusive home environment led him to act out and be destructive. He was always one step away from living in juvie. Bree always saw him as the devil incarnate. Years later, they end up in Vegas together, drink entirely too much and wake up in bed together. Neither one remembers what happened but they quickly discovered that they also got married?! She wants it annulled immediately until Ethan makes her an offer she can’t refuse. If she will stay married, he will help her achieve her dream of opening a spa. How can he do this? He’s a millionaire, possibly a billionaire if he stays married. But what happens when hearts get involved?
This was a definite page-turner. The tension between the main characters was so intense that I could feel it putting pressure on my throat. I couldn’t wait for it to break. I will say, although I did enjoy the book, after everything I’ve heard about the author, I kind of expected more depth. But, overall, I did enjoy the story and I will read her work again. I do recommend you give this book a try. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Detective Ethan Carson is about to inherit a billion dollar resort from his grandfather, but there are a couple of bumps in the road, like getting married. Bree was tortured all through school by Ethan, which sure as hell didn't impress me, but she's got a good heart despite the fact that her really did a number on her. She comes to Ethan trying to buy a property for a new day spa, and they end up married in Vegas after getting blackout drunk. They planned to get it annulled but Ethan's grandfather wants them to stay married for six months, so he makes her deal to get her to go along with it. Somewhere along the way, things started getting blurry as they got closer, and while I did love Bree, Ethan was a little harder to warm up to but that's just me. Out of Bounds had several things I really loved, and it would have been the perfect read had Ethan been just a bit better. To see how it all pans out, you know what to do as I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have to start by saying how much I genuinely love KHARDINE GRAY as a author she really is one of my favorites . From the moment I started reading out of bounds I found myself completely hooked and 100% invested in Ethan and Bree’s journey together. Childhood adversaries ( as kids Ethan constantly bullied Bree ) but now that they are adults and have matured and grown up they find that their feelings towards one another have changed .After a night in Vegas together they wake up the next morning with the realization that they are now married . How will their journey end ? Can they find their happily ever after . I cannot even express how much I truly adored every aspect of this story . It’s filled with, love , second chances , angsty moments, steamy , off the charts chemistry, emotion and so much more , this is a must read

This is Ethan and Bree’s story. These two were childhood enemies, where Ethan bullied Bree and, in the process, he destroyed and humiliated her, and she has avoided him ever since. Ethan is now a detective and while at a bachelor party in Vegas he crosses paths with Bree, and after a drunken night they wake up the next morning married, which is something neither can remember. These two strike a deal where they will have a marriage of convenience, which will benefit them both. This is a good story which is filled with emotions, romance, family, friendships, passion, and love, which leads to an entertaining all-consuming page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

"We're two grown adults. Two married grown adults. We're not the kids we used to be."
Bree & Ethan love story is adorable and I did nothing but smile through out the whole book. They are made for each other but Ethan is scared and there is only one person that can change his mind unfortunately she dead...
Her name is Amelia is Ethan angel she saved when they meet and she sent him a little message. It's a heart breaking story and I wish it was written in a whole book of Ethan and Amelia love story. Part of her wishes Ethan and her dad to scatter her ashes on the lake but the letter must be read on the day...no spoilers 😭
"Fight for what you want, even if you have to fight yourself" 😭 she helped me again❤

I binge read this amazing 5 star enemies/lover story. It was so addicting and highly entertaining.
There’s a fine line between love and hate. Ethan & Bree have spent much their lives hating each other. One drunken mistake leads to they need each other to achieve their goals.
I have enjoyed immensely this entertaining story with the non stop bantering. They are always at each other’s throats, which is kind of funny. I loved these amazing characters that were just perfect for each other. Beautifully written with a seamless plot. I can’t wait for more. Bottomline this is a must read.
Standalone told inn a dual POV with an HEA. Although it’s part of a series and I haven’t read the first book, which. Will soon. I strongly recommend this story.

This is a great addition to this series. Ethan and Bree were meant to be together. From the time they meant even though they secretly liked each other they never really got a long. Ethan thought that he was not good enough for Bree and Bree thought that Ethan was really mean. Fast forward to the present and they still don't really get along. They are kind of like oil and water. Let me tell you that when these two accidently end up married they burn hot together. From the beginning of their story I was hooked. Their story was funny, intriguing, hot and so much more. I have to say I was really sad when their story ended. I cannot wait until the next book. Highly recommend you pick this one up you will not be disappointed. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the second book in this series and I have to Tell you after reading Sins or Secrets and meeting Ethan and Bree ion that one I was looking forward to their story but somehow it just didn't gel for me.
They had been enemies from child hood continually throwing sparks of one another mainly as Ethan didn't think he was good enough to have anything great in his life and truthfully he thought Bree was great he has managed to pull himself to together and is now a detective When a drunken night in Vegas leads to them waking up married they both decide to use it to their advantage he will get his inheritance and she will get thee building she needs for her business Such a wonderful premise but somehow it just whimpered along when it could have been so much more

volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Out Of Bounds .
This story is very entertaining . I really enjoyed reading it . Ethan and Bree have known each other since she was ten . Ethan knew Bree was to good for him . He push her away . Bree soon decided he was the devil incarcerated . Ethan finds Bree dating a man with ties with the Russian Mob . Trying to protect her he manage to embarrasses her . That's the final straw . Bree finds she needs him to get her dream of opening a Spa . So while Ethan is in Vegas Bree goes to convince him to help . Of course not everything that goes on in Vegas stays in Vegas . Things take an interesting turn when love gets involved . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

I love a good enemies to lovers romance and Khardine's is awesome! He was her nemesis when she was younger, now he is the roadblock to her dream business. Ethan isn't looking for love, just his next business deal. Bree needs to shake up her life and she has her eyes on a building that is perfect for her dream business. When she finds out that Ethan is the owner she is even more determined to make it hers, so much so she crashed his bachelor party weekend in Vegas. They both deny the chemistry they have, but one drunken night leads to a whole new set of issues for them! Bree needs his building and Ethan needs to keep his father happy....so let the fireworks begin!! Loved this!! I received this ARC from Bad Boy Updates.

[1.75 star] i think there are some editing issues with this book. like "bed habits" and "bed experience", like huh?? is it "bad habits" and "bad experience" or "bed" is the word the author really wanna used?? additionally, there are sentences that are really weird. like there are missing words in the sentences or something, so when i read it, i totally don't get what is it trying to say.
there are also typo like she could even talk properly to me. it was her dad who spoke for her.. i suppose the word to be use is "couldn't" or "could not" as the phrase "she could" doesn't link with the next sentence. i mean if she could speak, why would her dad speak for her?
i think it would have been a better read if the book have been properly edited.

Bullies can be misunderstood
Ethan has his hands full. As the new second-in-command at his precinct, he has a lot on his plate. Not the least of which is the local drug ring linked to the Bratva. Add to that the bombshell his grandfather just dropped on him. Seems to fully inherit the family business, he must be married. Hard to do when you’re married to your job.
Bree has the worst taste in men. Seems her new beau is involved with the Bratva. And she’s with him when he’s arrested, and also taken into custody. To add insult to injusy, who is the one to interrogate her? None other than her high school bully, Ethan. Could this day get any worse? Yes, yes it can.

The first book sins or secrets was amazing that it was so hard to compete! I love the history between Bree and Ethan and you’ll find out why he calls her muffin.
There’s so much I wish they would have touched on more and had more suspense to it especially since she was dating someone in the Russian Mafia, like that isn’t normal.
I don’t want to spoil the book, so go grab your copy. Bring on Bryce’s story now!
I wish I could give it 5 stars but I noticed some spelling mistakes that drove me crazy!

What could have been a classic enmeis to lvoers story, Out Bounds had its own unqiue spin, one that will be sure to entertain you.
Out of Bounds was a delightful read, taking that age-old story of a boy that used to bully the girl who when they meet years later it is still fresh in the woman/s mind, which leads to some make you smile moments and some moments that will make a pause, as you get to understand this complex couples life. Ms Gray brought many great romantic elements to this must-read story.

Ethan and Bree were enemies as children. Ethan was hit by his father and didn’t think he deserved anything good to happen to him. So he picked on the one person he liked. Years later Ethan is told by his grandfather that he is handing the business over to him on condition that he gets married. He goes off too Vegas with his two buddies for one of there stag does. There he leaves them and meets Bree. I’m not going to spoil the rest. I received an ARC for an honest review which I have given

I would have to say, Out of Bounds is one of my favorites of Khardine Gray's story. I couldn't put the book down, the plot was strong, it was packed with several emotions. Bree and Ethan were strong characters, their path was a rollercoaster, these two had many ups and downs, emotional one but they were made for each other, their connection was strong, they were drawn to each other, the chemistry between them was off the charts, it was steamy, they were good together.
This was a great story. Thank you, Khardine Gray. Good work :)

While this story wasn’t up to the caliber of book 1, it was still an enjoyable read to me. Yes, I expected more sassy come backs and attitude between Ethan and Bree, it turned into a sweet second chance love story. The plot was good though I would have preferred more depth. The chemistry was there just not enough as explosive as I expected. Both were relatable as well. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book.

He was (is?) her bully.
Ethan has acted out towards Bree for decades because he’s an ass. He wants her so he treats her bad. But when another guy treats her bad, he’s all jealous. Men.
Poor Bree, she’s stuck with either a bad guy or a PI who treats her poorly. It’s not really a win for her. I just felt like she was a pawn in everyone else’s game.
So, of course she ends up hitched to Ethan. Way more drama than necessary.
