The Hans Wilhelm Treasury of Jokes

Rate this book
Why did the chicken cross the playground? To get to the other slide. What do you call Tyrannosaurus rex when it wears a cowboy hat and boots? Tyrannosaurus Tex . And why will kids love this collection? Because it’s laugh-out-loud funny, filled with just the kind of jokes they love, and illustrated with colorful, action-packed pictures by best-selling artist Hans Wilhelm. Monkeys swing on trees, chased by bananas; dinosaurs roller-skate; and ghosts and goblins have a merry time. Every page is a blast!

Mr. Wilhelm is reportedly the illustrated of over 200 books; this treasury of jokes highlights his skill.

This book is full of jokes. They are divided into categories such as dinosaurs, animals, monsters, knock knocks, etc. We read the book several times through. You have to weed through the bad jokes to find the good though. I was reading this with my daughter so a lot of them went way over her head even though it's a children's book. It accomplished what it set out to do though. She laughed like a loon at some of them and now walks around telling people her new jokes.

Omg these jokes are terrible. The kids caught onto the humour of some of them. They are groaners. Though I gotta admit I love all the Quackers jokes.
