Twenty Short Stories

Rate this book
This collection of short stories is an introvert's way of letting the world know what goes on inside his mind. By delivering a fictionalized version of incidents taken from his own life as well as others, there is an attempt to paint the world and its people, including himself, in words. There is also a slight hope of finding like souls who will find these stories relatable in the least and surprisingly similar to their life, in more ways than one. Fair warning, these stories are predominantly dark in nature and at times, difficult to read. About the Author : Avnish Anshu was born and raised in the Indianstate of Jharkhand. In a former life, he used to workfor a leading tech company and then, at a Gurgaonbased startup. At present he spends most of his timewriting stories derived from various experiences inlife. It is not an easy job for him, given his ultrasensitive nature and the fact that the last few yearshave not been the greatest.Twenty Short Stories, his debut work, is a collectionof some stories written during that rough period.

Twenty short stories
.
How's the day treating you? Well I came across another short stories book. But, I didn't liked this.
.
Firstly I hate when they make mistake on index page. Like in index it shows 95 pages and the total count of pages is 150. Sorry but this book lost point from starting.
.
Coming towards the stories some of them are good and well developed like my favorites are
Life, before and after
Birthday
Fate.

Other stories are quite predictable as you read them. The plot of stories is quite fast. And language is easy going.

This is for people you mostly enjoy small read. I personally didn't liked that much

I would rate 2.8

Twenty Short Stories is a 150 page long book about twenty short stories. Needless to say, the title says it all.

The book talks of stories of different themes and different ideas. It makes you think about the different topics mentioned throughout the course of the book. And even if it doesn't make you think (like in a few cases), it still makes you want to read it through.

The book is not even of 200 pages but it had me interested right from the start. I guess there is something about short stories that really attracts me and makes me want to read through them. What's best is that since the stories were very short, they ended up before I even realized. And then, they helped me read despite my busy schedule.

The editing of the entire book also helped me go through it pretty easily. I have no idea why but recently I have been reading a lot of books that are poorly edited so this one came as a pleasant surprise to me. I really think the book deserves to be read, if for nothing else then for its amazing writing style. So if you're into short stories, then do give this one a go!

The cover is very attractive for me. The choice of colour is what attracted me most but the cover gives you no idea about what's in the book.
It is collection of 20 beautiful short stories. It has stories from love, life, sin, and many other feelings. The language is very simple and the stories are read by very quickly because they are really interesting.
I would suggest you to give this read sometime and not complete in one sitting as you will enjoy more.. That is according to me... Nonetheless I would say it was a great read.
Short story lovers should definitely read it
