Summary: Life for Phillipa until her brother became patient Zero in an illness that occurred after aliens arrived. The aliens, Dubbed the Terrans, seem to be finding their place helping humanity advance in scientific ways. The problem is what caused so many people like her brother to be falling ill. Phillipa is determined to find what is causing them to be ill. That is until another alien group, dubbed The Pods, literally out of the water. All the ill patients came to life like zombies doing the bidding of The Pods. As things spiral out of control, Phillipa continues her search as the Terrans make their move. Will humanity survive.
While I liked this story, it seemed a little bit rushed. If it was longer with a more intricate plot would have advanced the plot more. I would like to know more about the two alien groups to help understand what their motivations were.

This story was interesting to read. I liked the concept and thought it read more like a prequel touching on the history of something then a true story. If flushed out more it would have read better. But I did finish the story as I wanted to see how it would end and how the aliens and the disease would be linked. The alien, disease and zombie mix was cool though. And I would read more in the series to see what would happen next.
Excellent Sci-Fi storytelling I think it tackle many things like zombies, pandemic, Aliens, Human and treasure of Supreme leader of the universe. I think it should have another book to complete the story since it was not ended yet.
