Blue, Collin, Whiteboy, and Rico are high school seniors who have a growing entertainment production company, but after a fight at a party puts Whiteboy in the hospital, Collin is in trouble with his family for raiding his college fund, Jade breaks up with Blue, and Blue owes money to Rico (NOT a good thing). This looks like the end of the business before it’s really off the ground.
With its urban setting and street language, this will probably be a hit with students. I admit it didn't do much for me, but then I'm a middle aged white woman! The story is told in alternating voices by each of the players. Each character has his/her own voice and style. The suspense builds slowly, but hooks the reader from the start. Although this is the sequel to The World is Mine it’s not necessary to have read the first to get the storyline. There is some sex and profanity, but nothing graphic. I'll bet high school students will like it!

The book was great from beginning to end. The ending was not exactly how i thought it would end but better. I feel like i coupd connect to this book alot which is why i started and finished reading the first and second part. Books like these are the ones that inspire me to read and also give me advice in life. This book is great and i recommend it to most teens that have a dream but dont really think about the future.
