We had read two of these level 1 / prereader books so I went looking for more she might like at the library. Natalie was excited by a Wonder Pets book, but I found it really lacking compared to the Cars and Kai-lan books we read. This one had no plot. It just showed the different ways the fly boat has been dressed up throughout the series. At first it was interesting because it combined different kinds of transportation, but then it was just made to look like different animals. Not many words, no plot, no characterization, boring pattern.
