I’m Swiss, but grew up in California. My Canadian wife and I now live in Switzerland, but we often visit Canada. We love Newfoundland dogs, goats, roosters, and a very special mouse, all characters in “The Lost Treasure of the Swiss Alps”. Absolutely amazing (children's) book - great read for adults too! Wonderful and heartwarming story! Well written. I found it by accident when I was in Kandersteg in 2024 in a local bookstore, and decided to buy it, not knowing what was it about. It was so special to read this story after visiting the area. It is available on Kindle, as well as Amazon.

Highly recommend it!

I do hope that the author is writing a second part.

I really enjoyed Roger Bonner’s book “The Lost Treasure of the Swiss Alps….”. As the full-time servant of my two cats, I appreciated the glimpse into the minds of the various animals in the book. They became the heros of the story. It’s as if Dan Brown’s secret codes from “The Da Vinci Code” were translated by a mysterious chicken who speaks in ominous rhymes and has ESP.
