His career in public services started in his teens and has provided a wealth of experiences, both good and some very bad, which form the basis of the book ideas that cause regular insomnia.
He first started reading for fun as an adult, having tried his hardest to avoid anything resembling academia growing up, and at that point the world became a far bigger place. He has been reading, at least one book at a time, ever since.
His debut works, the After It Happened series, (Survival, Humanity, Society) were published in April 2016 followed by Hope (July 2016) and Sanctuary (December 2016). The first part of the series concluded with the release of Rebellion which was published in June 2017.
Storming high into the charts with the first books of the After It Happened series, Devon launched into the top 10 sellers listings in the UK, Australia, Canada and the US, and he made the decision to write full time shortly after the launch of Hope.
Devon’s self-published beginnings caused a stir in the publishing world, and resulted in contracts with Podium Publishing for Audible, narrated by R.C. Bray (The Martian, Expeditionary Force, Arisen), before a publishing deal for kindle and paperbacks with Vulpine Press.
Further works have seen the start of a multi-author series, sci-fi/post-apocalyptic cross genre, futuristic dystopian and alternative history zombie apocalypse. Spin-off books from the After It Happened world have been announced for 2018.

A DCF. SYFY. Novel ( TESB. - 4)/War and More War
DCF. has. penned the fourth novel in the Expansion series, which shows the people from Earth beginning to understand the Aliens they are fighting. The problem is the two faction the Earth is fighting with do not know that one side has minature bodies inside a cyborg machine. The U.N. coordinator is trying to explain the difference when they are attacked by the bad Aliens and a subversive group from Earth's Middle East. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

This time it's war!
Well right by the end anyway! Wow! Loved this episode and I sure hope there's another book on its way!!
Very exciting climax to the story leaving plenting of room to finish the story off!
So much happens in this book you don't get a chance to take a breath, very exciting!

I just finish all four books in three days--it was that good! The continuity over several parallel threads was a clear sign of a well written and edited series. Ford zooms from the macro to the micro focus effortlessly without losing track.
I'm really looking forward to books 5, 6, and 7!

This has been a great series
The characters is what I get attached to. They really make The storyline work. The action is great with a few twists that make it more interesting. Hopefully there's more coming

Great scifi and fast paced
Gordon delivered again with his usual fast paced sci fi adventure. This time things got a bit more serious and had a bit more action in the end.
